Targipsum ran a high-volume logistics operation on fragmented internal tools: routing decisions lived in spreadsheets, lead qualification was manual, and errors surfaced only after customers complained. I led the frontend build of a unified platform that put live operational state in front of the people who could act on it.

Problem

Operations teams coordinated shipment routing and lead qualification through spreadsheets and a patchwork of legacy admin screens. Nobody had real-time visibility into pipeline state, dispatch errors surfaced only through customer complaints, and every new workflow meant bolting another one-off tool onto an already fragile stack.

Design & Architecture

I designed a modular dashboard shell around a real-time data layer: optimistic UI updates backed by WebSocket-driven state, role-based views for dispatch, sales, and ops leadership, and an error-telemetry surface that elevated backend failures directly into the interface. The component model was built for density — data-heavy tables, live status chips, and sparklines that stayed legible at laptop and control-room resolutions alike.

Execution

Built with React and TypeScript on a serverless backend, shipping a typed component library with reusable hooks for subscriptions, pagination, and optimistic mutations. Error telemetry pipelines streamed into the UI as structured events, giving operators a single pane for routing SLAs, lead-qualification throughput, and failure triage.

Impact

Cut mean time-to-detect on routing errors from days to under five minutes, and took lead qualification from a manual spreadsheet pass to a fully live, auditable queue.
